Sarawak Economic Development Corporation is inviting applicants for its international class hotels in Kuching, Sarawak for the following positions:

GENERAL MANAGER

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Hospitality/ Tourism / Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Strong in leadership, excellent organizational skills, pleasant personality, able to provide a clear strategic direction to the team, results-oriented and with integrity.
  • At least five years’ work experience in senior management position in a hotel.
  • Extensive background in Rooms and Food & Beverage.
  • Strong business acumen/experience in business development and cost control, and able to drive operational excellence with proven track record.

 

DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant fields.
  • Requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ work experiences in a hotel.
  • Results-oriented, pro-active with strong selling skills that focus on the hotel profitability.
  • Able to develop existing accounts and acquire new accounts.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills and possesses analytical ability.

 

DIRECTOR OF CATERING

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experiences working in Catering Department in a hotel.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, training and development abilities to lead a team and experience working with the Delphi Sales & Catering system.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers with integrity.

GENERAL MANAGER

  • Degree holder in Property / Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in the related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, business, leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, possess high integrity and impeccable track records in property management.

Job Function
Responsible for the management, operation & maintenance of all the Corporation’s related tourism facilities, properties, and shopping complexes.

Remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experiences.
